Eftychia Apostolou, PhD
I am an Associate Professor of Molecular Biology at Weill Cornell Medicine, New York. My group studies the complex interplay between 3D chromatin organization and transcription during either (i) maintenance of cell fate during cell division (self-renewal) (Molecular Cell, 2021; Stem Cell Reports 2020; Cell Reports 2017) or (ii) during cell fate transitions, such as reprogramming, lineage specification or tumorigenesis (Nature Cell Biology 2019, Developmental Cell 2021).
I have received several awards, including the NIH Director’s New Innovator and the Emerging Leader award from the Mark Foundation. I am a member of the 4D Nucleome consortium.
